Individual Therapy

How does one decide whether they should get counselling, psychotherapy, or individual therapy? Should they get therapy for depression, anger management, or relationship therapy? This is a difficult choice for most individuals.

If you are feeling alone, or if you think that what ever you are doing isn’t good enough, you might be more frustrated than usual. This could effect how you are in relationships, how you behave with your partner, with family members, or how you relate to others at work. Pretty soon those relationships start to decline and maybe you are withdrawing from others or you might be getting into more disagreements or arguments. As a result of this your mood gets affected and you’re feeling more down, angry, irritable, or anxious. This has become a downward spiral for you. It is hard to get off of this difficult track.

One way to help all of this to slow down is to get a new perspective, find out what is going on inside of you that is contributing to all of this. There are many counsellors, psychotherapists, and counselling services who speicalize in counselling and individual therapy. I have been practicing psychotherapy and counselling for over 30 years. I have an expertise in helping men and women to find out what gets in their way of achieving happiness, and maintaining healthy realtionships.

Some reasons that you might get into a funk or bad mood, or that you might be irritable or anxious, is that you might be under a lot of stress. You might be feeling insecure or anxious about a relationship, your career, or health. Maybe you might be feeling some grief over the loss of a loved one, relationship, job, or  pet?

It is hard to ask for help. You might feel that it is a sign of weakness or that you are admitting that something is wrong with you. It really takes courage and character to look more into yourself to confront whatever situation you need to, so you can be your whole self and live your life to the fullest without getting brought down by  stress and life circumstances. I would be happy to talk with you more about your situation and can guarantee that I will understand you and help you understand what you can do to feel a whole lot better. Please contact me so we can get started with individual therapy that can be of great value to you.
